Operating as Canadian Professional Appraisers (CPA)
CPA is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1989 and granted a federal charter by the Canadian Department of Consumers & Corporate Affairs.
The association has members across Canada who are governed by a strict Code of Ethics and By Laws.
Our members are highly qualified with extensive knowledge, experience and have the utmost integrity and competence to provide you with a verbal or formal written appraisal.
CPA has several levels of qualified appraisers depending on their experience and the approval of the Board of Directors.
Associates have 3 years of experience in their field of expertise.
Ordinary Members have 5 years of experience in their field of expertise.
Accredited Members have 8 years of experience in their field of expertise.
Honorary and Life Members.
CPA does not give courses on how to become an appraiser. Candidates must already be professional appraisers with experience and knowledge in their field when applying for a CPA membership.
